Once this inquiry is received by Richard's Foodporium™, the Director of Franchise Development will personally contact you to discuss your plans and give an overview of the Richard's Foodporium™ opportunity.

Fill out a Confidential Franchise Application

After your initial phone conversation with the Director of Franchise Development, and the determination to move forward has been made, we will e-mail you a Confidential Franchise Application.

We will review your application and follow up with a personal interview to determine if this is the right opportunity for you.

Face to face meeting

When all indication is to move forward, the next step is to visit the Richard’s Foodporium™ operation. We will schedule a personal meeting at the Franchise Support Office in Venice Florida. Richards offers a tour of several company stores, the distribution center, and meetings with key individuals at the Corporate Office. At these meetings we will discuss the area of interest as well as answer any outstanding questions.

Review the Franchise Disclosure Document

At your face-to-face meeting with the Director of Franchise Development, you will receive the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). This document is required by state law and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and explains in detail the Richard’s Foodporium™ Franchise.

While we will review this with you, it is up to you to study and understand the FDD as it contains all pertinent information needed to make an informed decision to become a Richard’s Foodporium™ franchisee. We also suggest that you have a professional review this legal document.

Follow up call from Richard’s Foodporium™ Franchising

About one week after our face-to-face meeting, the Director of Franchise Development will contact you to answer any questions you may still have on the Richard’s Foodporium™ Franchise or in the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

Sign Franchise Agreement

After your due diligence period, the final step on the road to owning a Richard’s Foodporium™ is the execution of a Franchise Agreement and collection of the franchise fee to the Franchisor. Once Richard’s Foodporium™ countersigns your agreement, you are officially a Richard’s Foodporium franchisee. The planning phase will come next including site selection, lease signing, and determining your time line to develop your store (s).
